What is Muscle Reactivation?

Muscle reactivation is a specialized technique of balancing muscles that have become inhibited, have too much tone, or are no longer functioning properly. This technique “wakes up” body-brain communication pathways to quickly and gently reduce pain, and increase strength and flexibility.

What Happened to My Muscles?

Over the course of our lives, various parts of our bodies experience both large and small traumas, some of which our bodies are unable to fully adapt to. In order to continue to meet demands and conduct “business as usual” bodies create a “hack” to get the job done without over-stressing the injured part.

What is a Muscle Reactivation Session Like?

Each session is unique to the client’s need and uses a combination of gentle acupressure, applied kinesiology, and Brain Integration techniques to help restore muscles to their “original setting,” reduce pain and improve function and performance.

What Can Muscle Reactivation help with?

Active muscle testing is performed on various parts of the body and corrections are provided using various acupressure, applied kinesiology, and Brain Integration techniques. While most people experience significant improvements during the first session, several sessions are likely required to fully address the client’s issues. Naturally, this will depend on the extent and complexity of the issues at hand.

"I saw Lisa for some pain I was having in my lower back and neck. After the first treatment, the pain was reduced by a significant amount. I noticed that when I lifted my 2 yr. old granddaughter, I didn’t feel the pain in my lower back that had become common with lifting. The pain had been with me for years, an old injury that I just put up with until it became unbearable. After second treatment, the pain was gone! This has made a huge difference in my life and I am so grateful to Lisa!"
